She approaches each cake and dessert experience as part of a larger composition — considering the architecture, the florals, the menu, the season, and the feeling you want your guests to remember. She has competed on national stages, appeared on Food Network, and been commissioned coast to coast to create edible art for events that demand the extraordinary.
She has sculpted inside a glass refrigerator while crowds watched. She has carved faces from sugar that made rooms go silent. She has built pieces that weigh forty-five pounds and look like they belong in a gallery. The result is always a piece that feels personal without becoming predictable, elevated without becoming excessive.
